What's nice about this is women tennis had returned to normal. The squealers (Sharapova et al) are getting old and can't go deep any more. A few still hangs around but hopefully they'd be made irrelevant by the new crop.
one year ago, Barty mostly played one hand backhand slice, now she plays 2 handed backhand attacking and wins more

Am a fan of both players, but was rooting a bit more for Karoline as she has improved a lot and played so well against Halep.. Still, Ashley is just a super solid player and has also improved and beat Petra which is no small feat. So, a big congrats. to both players. Women's tennis is really exciting. I think the quality of play has truly risen with quite a few excellent players.
